
Candidates will be required to complete a nanny profile, providing comprehensive information about their work history and references. Hutson Nannies will assess candidates through a comprehensive evaluation process, which includes an in-person or Zoom interview. During this assessment, qualifications, availability, personality, and rates will be carefully considered. Verification of current CPR certification will also take place, and candidates may be asked to complete or update their certification if necessary.
Hutson Nannies will contact three or more of provided references of the candidate. If the reference checks meet Hutson Nannies’ satisfaction, the process will proceed to the next step.

Complete the Hutson Nannies application thoroughly.
Hutson Nannies will proactively reach out to the candidate to address any gaps in the application and conduct a phone interview.

A thorough background screening will be conducted, consisting of at minimum: SSN trace, county and federal criminal record search, and sex offender database check. Additional checks such as a drug test, DMV record check, financial assessment, and education verification may be requested by a potential family. If the background check meets the requirements, the process will continue.
Once the candidate has successfully completed the previous steps, they will be accepted as a Hutson Nannies nanny. They will be eligible for immediate placement as a sitter or, when the ideal family and position are found, as a full-time nanny.
